Airplane Ride over Charleston

On Saturday, Rob took Sydney and I on an airplane ride over Charleston. We went to the Aero club and rented a Cessna 172 for an introductory flight with an instructor. No, Rob didn't fly this time - I did! Sydney was so excited about going in the airplane, however, when the engine started, she was scared to death. Rob was then able to hold her & she enjoyed it much more! Nothing like daddy's arms. The hum of the airplane sent her off to sleep after the first 10 minutes! The view was great & I even liked flying a little bit. Here's a few pictures.

Swiss, Cheddar, Mozzarella

Samantha Taliaferro, Elizabeth Phillips, and Sydney Lowe saying "Cheese." Rob watched the three girls while I held a bible study at a friend's house last Wednesday night. They had a ball!
At one point in the night, Rob said the doorbell rang and a guy was at the door wanting to know if Rob wanted to join a charity Motorcycle ride. Rob had two girls in tow and a pinky ring on his finger (the one Sydney had put there a few minutes earlier)!

Sydney's first day of school

Sydney started the Child's Day Out program at Old Fort Baptist in Summerville on September 3rd. Her teacher's name is Ms. Veronica and there are six kids in her class. She goes two days a week now from 9-1. Her schedule consists of room playtime, music, craft, story, recreation, lunch, etc. She has been three times now and seems to really enjoy it. I just hate not knowing what she is doing all day! Today, we were in the car and she wanted me to sing the "baby" song. She said she sang it at school. I tried several "baby" songs but it wasn't it, so I'll have to ask her teacher on Wednesday.

Sydney loves Chocolate Ice cream!

This is a picture of Sydney eating her favorite flavor of ice cream - chocolate! Just like Mommy! As you can tell, she loved it! We were in downtown Charleston at an Italian Gelato Ice cream shop with Granpa & Dee Dee the first weekend in September.
Also, Sydney's new thing is posing for the camera. She will say "cheese" and then will say "see" because she wants to see the picture.
